Main Functions
- Create 3 axis CAD/CAM programs and process files from DXF and PDF files
- Save programs from job transfer files to appropriate job files
- Set up machine and produce parts
- Evaluate, Create, Utilize tool library according to materials
- Provide technical assistance
- Conduct technical training
- Observe, evaluate, and correct operator work for conformance
- Participate in 5S and Lean /CI

Typical Duties
Set-up and run job orders according to the program and process files
Measure and record products or materials to control quality
Train CNC Operators/Programmers
Create process files
Collaborate with the Engineering group
Maintain machine operation and detect problems as they might occur
Apply Procedures and Work Instructions
Support safety procedures and safe practices
Report process or equipment deficiencies
Assist supervisor with section personnel and work-center operations
Clean equipment or machinery
Required Skills

Multi-tasking, Digital Cutters, CO2 lasers, Hybrid Lasers, Mills, Some college a plus,
Phone etiquette, Cleanroom experience, GD&T experience/training, NC CAM experience
Education Requirements
High school diploma/GED/ five (5) year’s work experience
Experience Requirements
One-year 3-axis CNC programming through school and/or OJT
Two years 3-axis CNC operator in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
Requires using hands to handle tools or controls. Requires repetitive movement. Must have vision (with or without assistance) capable of seeing small objects at a close distance. Requires prolonged standing/sitting.
Requires lifting up to 25lbs.
