Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
  • Rotate through multiple workstations on a shift to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly.
  • Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.

Job Summary

The Composite Technician will performs composite layup and layup techniques for bonding, trimming, curing and inspecting composite materials in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on quality. You will be trained to use an Autoclave machine which is critical to our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interprets work instructions and drawings to determine materials, tools and processes to use for each product, as directed.
  • Maintains cleanliness of area by following all requirements, appropriate dress and regular housekeeping.
  • Inspects all materials for both quality and accuracy to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Ensures all assemblies are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and nonconformance issues by following cleanroom requirements.

  • Inspects own work for compliance to instructions and quality of work, along with the use of microscopes and measuring equipment, such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Safety procedures strictly adhered to within the Lamination department during movement of product, performance of basic integrity checks and sensor preparations.
  • Set-up and monitoring Lamination cycles are performed, with a focus on potential mechanical errors.
  • Inspects processed materials for any contamination and/or non-conformances.
  • Prepares rejection tags, documents findings, and reports all non-conformances to Production Supervisor.
  • Packages and labels all acceptable finished products.

Job Summary

Final inspection of printed circuit boards (PCB) assemblies with or without Microscope, Halo Light, or similar magnification tool. Works under close supervision. The responsibility of Quality Inspector shall be to support manufacturing to achieve customer Quality and Delivery requirements according to specifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and PCB drawing / schematics to ensure quality products.
  • Workmanship and Inspection to IPC-600 (or similar) standards
  • Ensure PCB assemblies are built and compliant to specifications, customer drawings and/or BOM.
  • Inspectors will ensure the drawings are adequate to use and that any red lining have the appropriate authorization and approvals with date.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment in line with company policy.
  • Execute in-line quality protocols, final QC processes, and IQC procedures
  • Follow production priorities as established by the Head of Operations and /or Production Manager.
  • Inspect and test products per assigned work order (WO) and/or special instructions.
  • Perform First Article may include AS9102 documentation.
  • Follow all company and departmental processes and procedures
  • Willing to be trained on the following areas: inspection techniques, quality methodologies, and use of inspection apparatus

Required Skills

  • This is an ITAR facility and applicant must hold U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status per ITAR contract requirements
  • Knowledge in manufacturing flex and rigid flex printed circuit boards
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Knowledge in understanding prints and specifications
  • Ability to visually verify fine detail work
  • Ability to understand and follow directions regarding manufacturing flexible printed circuit boards
  • Prolonged viewing of small parts via microscopes and sitting.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (smock, gloves, closed toed shoes etc.)

Experience Requirements

  • 0-1-year experience of printed circuit board manufacturing environment
  • Consistently achieve defined productivity level on all products processed; run product independently for a period of at least three months.
  • Proven record of quality, on time production run.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating machine maintenance, and instruction and/or procedure manuals.
  • Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
