Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed training plan as specified in Results Producing Management (RPM) schedule.
  • Maintain chemical supplies and ensure that all chemicals are in the right location.

Job Summary

The Shipping Associate I is responsible for processing and preparing products for shipments to customers and suppliers, including the selection of appropriate packaging materials based on customer shipping requirements and methodology.

Reviewing Fralock job travelers, material certs and shipping documents to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance of all requirements. Advise 2nd shift supervisors of any expected pending carrier pickups. Notify immediate supervisor of any at-risk orders.

  • Review of orders prior to shipping for any special instructions related to labeling of

product, certificates of conformance or special packaging requirements.

  • Prepare products for shipment, including but not limited to, selection of containers,

labels and boxes to ensure all items are packaged to prevent any damage in transit.

  • Review the daily shipping queue regularly throughout the day to ensure on time processing of all customer shipments.
  • Shrink wrap, strap, label and prepare pallets for pickup.
  • Identify and communicate proactively when orders may be at-risk of not being shipped out on time.
  • Deliver urgent shipments that missed carrier pickup deadlines to local shipping hubs as needed.
