Responsibilities
What does an SMT QC do? The SMT Quality Control (QC) Inspector examines and assesses all products required at quality checkpoints as well as all inspections of critical materials.
Typical Duties
- Perform first article using BOM, drawings, and Work instruction
- Inspection includes components for SMT and PTH
Required Skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Familiar with inspection aids and tools such as multimeter and microscope
- Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in basic English
- Basic computer skills required
- Certification to IPC-610 & J-STD-001 is a plus
- Knowledge of operating the SMT AOI machine a plus
Education Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years inspecting mfg electronics components and PCBA

- Wear required PPE as needed
